The Wheel
Torturers used The Wheel in various ways, sometimes the victim's limbs
were bludgeoned by an iron bar while being tied, and at other times a
fire was lit underneath the wheel while it slowly rotated, causing the
body to burned repeatedly. Sometimes a victim was tied to the wheel
while facing the sun and left to die rotting for the birds.
