Boy with Two Faces
Kangkang was born with a deformity called transverse facial cleft. It
gives him the appearance of having two faces, almost like he is wearing a
mask. His mother was not allowed to see him when she gave birth. When
they finally did bring him to her she burst into tears when she saw his
unusual face. Although this type of deformity is extremely expensive to
fix, the family has raised the estimated $80,000 to $100,000 (USD) for
treatment at the People's Liberation Army's Military No. 163 Hospital.
