Brock Lesnar has, without a doubt, the best contract in professional wrestling. He is paid millions of dollars for working a very limited schedule. He has only had five actual matches this year, all headlining pay-per-views and all matches that required him to take very few bumps. Lesnar has always earned well in wrestling. He was paid $250,000 just to train with the WWF in 2000 and to make sure he didn’t work for WCW or New Japan Pro Wrestling, both of whom were extremely interested in retaining Lesnar’s services. The Beast Incarnate earned a not-inconsiderable $1m downside during 2002-2004 before he left to pursue his dream of playing in the NFL. When that didn’t work out, he returned to wrestling for NJPW and was paid $50,000 per match. Moving on to UFC, Lesnar fights headlined many pay-per-views that drew in excess of one million buys.
