10 Greatest WWE superstars of all time - Slide 1 of 11:Hulk Hogan

If you are searching for a reason why professional wrestling went main stream, then look no more. Hogan was one of the key figures which made wrestling into a pop culture that we see today.
Hogan had an early interest in Music and was never eager about making it big in wrestling. he had plans of becoming a rock star and was part of many local bands. However, seeing Hogan’s physique, the Brisco brothers suggested that he took the wrestling career.
Hogan embraced the advice and started training and ended up at AWA, which was Verne Gagne’s promotion. But Gagne didn’t to push Hogan because of his technical shortcomings.
However, Vince McMahon spotted Hogan and took him in after he made his appearance in Rocky III. Once in WWE, Hogan never looked back. He had many memorable matches including the one with Andre the Giant at WrestleMania III. He was the focal point of the company for more than a decade before he left to WCW.
In WCW, Hogan made one of the iconic turns when he revealed himself as the third member of the outsiders and initiated the NWo.
He returned to WWE to have a botched NWo reboot but made it up with a match of generations against The Rock. He then had a spell at TNA before making it in time for WrestleMania XXX.
No matter how many superstars rise from the WWE, everyone will just be looking to be the next Hulk Hogan as without him there wouldn’t have been a WWE that we see today.
