Fans of "Empire" can't help but like the fame-hungry aspiring rapper Bryshere Gray aka Yazz the Greatest, who plays the role of Hakeem on the popular show. We dug up a few facts you may not know about the actor and rapper!
Bryshere revealed he was down on his luck just before he landed on a role on "Empire." He said, "I'm from West Philadelphia. Before I got the Empire gig, I was broke and I was about to get evicted and I got this job and I got this audition with Terrence and Taraji at the same time and it changed my life."
Gray, who plays Terrence Howard's youngest and favorite son on the show, revealed he had to rap on his iPhone thrugh Facetime to land the acting gig. Bryshere's role on "Empire" is his first acting job.
