Can you believe it's been 25 years since Home Alone came out?
Yeah, I can't either. A lot has changed - I mean, Kevin McCallister now runs a car service and is deeply scarred from his childhood trauma, naturally. It's hard to imagine these beloved characters created by John Hughes getting older, as we view them frozen in time getting Nero's pizza and fighting over the last slice of cheese pizza. But alas, here's what the cast looks like after 25 years since the film's release.
After the success of Home Alone, Culkin became one of the most in-demand child actors. He starred in Home Alone 2 and then tackled other roles in The Good Son and Richie Rich. He took a nine-year hiatus from the big screen in 1994, and has landed small roles since his comeback. In his free time, he's apart of a Velvet Underground cover band called the Pizza Underground.
Daniel Stern - Marv
Marv wasn't the brightest bulb of a burglar out there, but he sure made us laugh. Since Home Alone, Stern has voiced characters like Dilbert in the animated series Dilbert and starred in A Christmas Story 2.
The gold-tooth burglar who undergoes a ton of torture from Kevin was already an Academy Award-winning actor pre-Home Alone. Since Home Alone, he had a few starring roles in film and TV, but retired from acting in the late '90s. In 2006, he got back into acting for the Robert De Niro film, Good Shepherd. He also played himself in a Snickers commercial in 2011.
Catherine O'Hara - Kate McCallister
Oh, Kate. She still goes down as the worst mother in history for forgetting her 8-year-old son. Since Home Alone, O'Hara voiced Sally in The Nightmare Before Christmas and has appeared in various films and TV shows. She currently stars on the sitcom Schitt's Creek.
John Heard - Peter McCallister
Peter may not get as much blame as Kate for leaving behind Kevin, but c'mon, as Kevin's dad he's just as responsible. Heard unfortunately had a few run-ins with the law in the '90s, after he was arrested twice for third-degree sexual assault against his ex-girlfriend and for trespassing at her home. On the career front, Heard appeared in The Sopranos and CSI: Miami in recurring rules. He continues to land small roles in TV.
Devin Ratray - Buzz McCallister
Kevin's bully older brother with the girlfriend Kevin described as "woof" has landed stints on TV shows like Law & Order, Supernatural and The Good Wife. He starred in the 2007 documentary Courting Condi, where he traveled around the country attempting to win over the affections of Condoleezza Rice.
Hillary Wolf - Megan McCallister
Megan starred in the 1992 teen comedy Big Girls Don't Cry... They Get Even. After that, she focused on her passion for judo. She went to the Summer Olympics in 1996 and 2000 as a double black belt. She's now an instructor at her brother's studio, Wolf Judo.
Angela Goethals - Linnie McCallister
One of Kevin's many siblings, after Home Alone Goethals went on to star in the TV show Phenom, which lasted one year. She graduated from Vassar College in 1999, and went back to Hollywood where she landed a recurring role on 24. She's also made guest appearances in Grey's Anatomy, CSI and Crossing Jordan.
Michael C. Maronna - Jeff McCallister
Kevin's brother who tells him he's "such a disease" is best know for playing Big Pete on the '90s Nickelodeon show The Adventures of Pete & Pete. He also gained fame for the 1999 ads for the web brokerage Ameritrade, and appeared in films Slackers and 40 Days and 40 Nights. Maronna then transitioned to the production side of film, and has been an electrician for over 40 TV shows and movies, including Sex and the City.
Gerry Bamman - Uncle Frank McCallister
Uncle Frank was really the "little jerk" to Kevin, which is why there's a conspiracy theory that he set up the Wet Bandit burglary. Since Bamman's role in Home Alone, he's continued to work in film, TV and theater, most notably starring in The Merchant of Venice.
Kieran Culkin - Fuller McCallister
`

Gerry Bamman - Uncle Frank McCallister
Kieran Culkin - Fuller McCallister
`
Fuller was the adorable Pepsi lover, bed-wetting cousin, played by Macaulay's real-life little brother, Kieran. He landed roles in popular movies like Father of the Bride and She's All That, but then took a break from acting in the mid-2000s to focus on his theater career. He ended up returning to the big screen with starring roles in Scott Pilgrim vs. The World and Margaret.
Roberts Blossom - Old Man Marley
Old Man Marley is one of the most underrated characters in Home Alone, and Blossom clearly did him justice. Blossom had a very successful acting career with roles in The Great Gatsby and Escape from Alcatraz. Before retiring from acting in the late '90s, he was in a series of Broadway and off-Broadway plays and had parts in several big-name films including The Quick and the Dead. He was also a poet and even starred in a documentary about his life. He sadly passed way in 2011 at the age of 87.
