Behind the Head Lat Pulldown
Pulling
the bar behind your head during a lat pulldown is just asking for an
injury to happen. To do this move you are putting your spine out of
alignment at the neck, the most fragile area, and then adding weight to
the equation. It is also very easy to injure your shoulder, particularly
your rotator cuff, in this position. A very simple fix is to always
pull the bar down in front of your head. It keeps everything in
alignment, puts less stress on your shoulders and still works out your
lats.
