#8 Randy Savage

Savage started his wrestling career in his father’s promotion, the International Championship Wrestling. He then spent time at Jerry Lawler’s promotion before making the jump to WWE where he made a name for himself.
He debuted in the WWE as a bully which was a hit with the fans. he also took in Miss Elizabeth as his manager, who later went on to become his future wife. His first title in WWE was the intercontinental title which he won by defeating Tito Santana in 1986. After winning the title, Savage took a Macho king moniker and had feuds with Ultimate Warrior, Hulk Hogan, Ricky Steamboat and many more.
He then went on the win the WWE title at WrestleMania 4 by winning the 14 man tournament which ran through the course of the show.
Savage and Hogan then formed a team named the mega powers with Miss Elizabeth as the manager. The team eventually broke up and the two started feuding and Savage ended up matching the popularity of Hogan and the Ultimate Warrior.
At WrestleMania 7, he had a career on the line match against Ultimate Warrior and lost it which forced him to retire. He thus had a great farewell match and walked out of WWE with his head held high. Savage passed away in 2011 but left his legacy which cannot be erased by anyone.
