#7 Bret "The Hitman" Hart

10 Greatest WWE superstars of all time - Slide 7 of 11:Bret \

He was a wrestler who teached us that we are never prepared for what we expect. A scape goat of Vince McMahon’s initiation of the Attitude Era, Bret Hart created an irreplaceable void in the business when he hanged up his boots.
Born into a wrestling family, Bret started his career in WWE as part of the tag team alongside his brother in law, Jim Neidhart. He donned pink and black attire and a mirrored sunglass which was a great hit among the fans, but it was his in ring skills which had the final word when it came to his popularity.
Hart spent 13 years in WWE and had feuds with the lights of Undertaker, Ric Flair, Mr. Perfect , Roddy Piper, Stone Cold and many more. But his most decorated opponent always was Shawn Michaels. Bret and Michaels had some absolute classics between them and is a feud which will make the fans drool even now.
But despite having such a rich resume, Bret will always be known for the Montreal Screw job. Vince McMahon broke the Kayfabe and literally screwed Bret who was going to WCW and it official started the decade long friction between the two men.
Bret then had a short stint in WCW but didn’t make it there big as he did in WWE. If the Screwjob wouldn’t have happened, he might’ve well been on top of the list because he had all the resources to do so.
