A pastor has been arrested after a 45-year-old man died during a deliverance service at the Pentecostal church in Edo, Punch reported.
The man had been taken to the church by relatives due to an ailment and wanted him to be made better. He was sent to the Holy Ghost Deliverance centre of the church. Neighbours allegedly heard a loud screams from the church, when they rushed over they discovered the man's lifeless body lying on the floor. Blood was seen on the floor where the man was laying; neighbours allege the man might have hit his head when he was falling down from being delivered. Relatives of the man had suspected something was wrong when the man's hands and feet were tied while being thrown to the floor. The pastor has since been arrested following the death of the man and a case has been opened.
